I'm a doll.....

I was sitting at my dining table just recently enjoying my breakfast when whilst popping onto my personal Facebook page I got a notification. I clicked to see more because it's was a direct notification to me from one of my dearest friend. 

What I saw was this doll and my friends words: Trudie it's a mini you.

I immediately responded with: That's hilarious. I need it. I'm so cute.

In full fledged self deprecating style I touched base with Sam of SammyB Handmade on her Facebook page. Told her the doll looked like me and I was keen to know if the doll was available. Quick as sticks Sam was back in touch letting me know that she would let me know as soon as she was available in her Madeit store.

So I'm super excited to say that Mini Me is on her way to me this week. I'm ridiculously excited about it, growing up, would you believe I never had a special doll, coming from a very poor family. A very personal and secret promise I've made to myself is to give myself some of those childhood things I missed out on. So this big girl who will be 35 years old later in the year, is treating herself to a little something for the little girl on the inside.
