You clicked over! You wanted to know why I had a post just for you, didn't you? Well firstly I want to say thank you for being such a wonderful support over at my Facebook page. I appreciate and enjoy each and every interaction with you, it's always nice to know I'm not just talking to myself. But you might be asking yourself why I enticed you over here? Well I thought I might answer a question I get from many of you in my inbox and via private message on Facebook.
Many of you tell me that you pop over to here from a Facebook link to read my blog posts, but some of you tell me you don't know how to comment or perhaps you have tried but the comment box below has given you some feedback you don't understand and you haven't proceeded.
So what I thought I'd do, is quickly run through your options for leaving comments over here at the blog. It's a fun little community here to join in the discussion with comments and others who comment. I try my best to reply to comments either by directly responding underneath the comment you left. Sometimes I may even respond directly into your inbox in depth. But another really cool thing here is, through the comments you can also find some really other awesome bloggers to follow and check out. You can click on their name, and their profile will show you if they have a blog link you can check out.
So here are some easy follow or comment options for you:
1. Do you have yourself a google account? If not it's easy and free to do. Once you've done it you can pop back to the blog here and you'll see this on my sidebar. Click "Join this Site" and you will be given your options for following My Vintage Childhood privately or publicly etc. So when you comment below the post, it will show me it was you popping by to say hi.

So if you've got a Typepad or Wordpress blog or account you can sign in via that method to comment, again not only will I know it's you I can follow your link back to check out your blog etc. There is also a Name/URL option so if you have an online presence elsewhere you could sign off with our name or handle and cut and paste a URL to another online presence perhaps your personal or business website, Pinterest, Facebook etc.
3. Again, in the drop down menu below the comment box there is an "Anonymous" option (although not shown here in the pic it will display to you), I don't mind genuine commenter's and readers using it as a method of contact, but I know many of you haven't used this option asking me how I know it would be you. Well it's a tricky one I don't, but it's totally fine to say I popped over from the Facebook link, leave your comment to add to the discussion and if you like sign off with your first name or other handle you know I might know you by.
Personally I feel the easiest option for following blogs, is of course by having a Google Account and then you're able to follow blog after blog easily, so much easier having your favourites saved in Google Reader than bookmarking on your desktop. But don't forget if you really want to you can always select to follow the blog by email (check my right hand sidebar a little under my picture. Then that way any new posts will be sent to your inbox. In fact all those orange boxes under my profile pic there, are links to all my other online presences at the moment or other ways of contacting me.
Well I hope this has helped those of you who have been curious and asking for some guidance. If you have any questions you can try leaving a comment, or click on the link I'm my right hand sidebar to email me or if you're totally confused just pop back to Facebook leave a comment and I'll help you out. Once again thanks for being such a fabulous support of my endeavors.

I need to run through something like this at my blog too. I think a lot of people want to leave feedback but don't know how.
