The urban hippy mumma speaks......

With the change of blog name late last year, one thing I've been excited about sharing more with you is more of my mummy life with my little people. As you all know I love vintage, op shopping and all that jazz but I'm also if you weren't aware a bit of an old school mumma. We prefer in most cases to seek out natural or attachment styles of parenting, and often look to show our little ones fun we had as kids in a more innocent time.

Sometimes I get labelled the "Urban Hippy" from friends, because I'm definitely the one who goes against "mainstream" for want of a better use of words. I'm the attachment parenting, babywearing, breastfeeding, clothing nappying, op shopping, thrifty mumma. Friends tend to have a giggle or poke fun at me about my extremes at times to save a few dollars or live a bit more in my parenting style and personal style. I'm ok with that, because I'm ok with myself and the choices I've made and the way I live, in a modern world.

My vintage loving life and the way I parent are a part of my everyday, it goes hand in hand. Therefore I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me more this year in all the other ways as I show you more glimpses into my life, and what makes me, me and who I am.
